Some other places to look for a bike to buy |
Motorcycle Classifieds - Web site with classified ads, some with photos, covering all years and model Ducati motorcycles (lots of "red" bikes) - private sellers and dealers. Can sort by model, year, price etc. Last time I looked there were over 200 Ducatis listed.
eBaymotors - bikes - auction site usually various Ducati models/years
eBay-motors - parts - auction site, type in "ducati" in the search field and see what they've got, often beveltwins and singles, bikes, parts, shop manuals, books, memorabilia, etc.
NOTE: Before bidding in any on-line auction be sure to check out a retailer with an online catalogue like Road and Race or motorcyclebooks.com for the current retail prices and availability of new items before you join the feeding frenzies that often generate "higher than new" prices.
ALSO "headiquette" dictates that we generally try not to get into bidding wars with each other, it's a personal thing each to his own, but, you never know when you're going to need help, or a part, from a fellow "head" you just bid up for something you didn't really need that bad. Just my 2 cents worth.
